The furnaces can be loaded through a lid that can be opened up and the furnace chamber is heated with heating spirals installed in circular grooves. The Top furnace family comprises furnaces with 16-220 litre inner volume. The smaller capacity furnaces are heated with 230 V power, the larger ones (> 60 litre) are heated with 400V 3-phase power.
