The English company Milton Bridge manufactures (partly on the basis of the formerly famous Schauer's licence) opaque and transparent enamels for use on copper and silver. Enamels come in "soft", "medium" and "hard" versions, depending on the metal to be coated. These categories are interrelated with the firing temperature – this should be taken into account when making your choice. Enamels are sold in a ground powder form.
